Edgett Williams has an international client base and reputation and works professionally with all major international elevator and escalator manufacturers. The firm’s size and orientation are such that the principals remain directly involved with client projects.

Edgett Williams Consulting Group provides comprehensive design and support services for building transportation systems. Our experienced team offers proven expertise in architecture, construction and the latest technological advances in elevators, escalators and material handling systems. We understand that a building is an economic entity and that different solutions are appropriate for different clients. We work with owners, architects, and other consultants to create a system that supports the goals of our clients, while moving people and goods as effectively as possible. 

Edgett Williams has a long history of monumental building design, including New York World Trade Center Tower 2, peer review of Towers 3 and 4 the original World Financial Center occupancy of Merrill Lynch along with such diverse projects as Yankee Stadium and the Apple Flagship store on 5th Avenue. Our renovation work includes the Observation Deck at 30 Rockefeller Center, Gloucester Tower, Jardine House, Prince’s Building in Hong Kong, One Raffles Quay in Singapore, Wisma Metropolitan Tower 1 in Jakarta and a variety of current projects for JPMorgan Chase and Citibank in New York City.

 

We are the elevator consultants for many of the leading buildings in China today, including the 600m Shanghai Tower and the Jin Mao Tower, two of the landmark structures in modern China. We pioneered the use of Destination Control in its first multi-tenant application in New York.
